The review by splattdogg is nothing more than a lie and a pathetic attempt to make this place look bad because he caused all his own problems starting problems with other residents and staff of the motel. It's a decent place to crash if you need a cheap bed for the night. However it is not somewhere that I would attempt to reside at full time nor attempt to raise kids there.
Best place to stay in Jackson. Great rooms and the owner Lucy is the nicest woman. Only $50 a night except during race weekend then I think it's $200 a night. Worth the price and will definitely return. Keep up the good work Lucy.
It's in a great location Right off of the interstate surrounded by restaurants and shopping. But above that I would have to say the manager is one of the nicest, most Pleasant people I've ever incountered.
This place is very nice and relaxing and the price is great the management is great and I would love to call this place my home away from home
I arrived in Michagin after a 13 hour drive and the kind staff at the family owned and operated Colonial Inn allowed me and my wife an early check in wothout a reservation in advance! I was literally ready to sleep in my truck since everyone else around was 3 o clock check in only. Rooms are nice and the TV is larger than most hotels. Also the rates were only half as expensive as what was advertised online. I believe we saw online $140 per night but that was a mistake. The rates were only $65 and there was a pool!
We planned on visiting with out motor home but it's in service. We have been staying at the colonial inn and it's been the best experience we have had. The owner Lucy couldn't have been more accommodating and we would highly recommend this motel to anyone traveling to or through jackson!
I have mixed feelings about this place. The staff was friendly, and didn't hesitate to find me a new room when an issue arose in the one I was already in, but it was definitely not very clean. Decent for the money.
The desk manager, Trish, is very friendly and very helpful. I had a two-night stay in a Jacuzzi and my stay was very enjoyable and relaxing. I look forward to staying there again.

Nice place for travelers. The hot tub room is awesome! Management is awesome! Not vary many problems but when there was they were fast to correct. Thank you colonial inn for a home in between houses.
